The prospect of a second term with him as president of the world\u2019s richest, most powerful military empire is a terrifying one. He is personally unfit for office, his policies are reactionary and unjust, and if he wins the election in November the whole world will become an even more unequal, dangerous and divided place to live in, especially for the poor and the powerless.<\/p>\n We call on poets and artists everywhere, across the globe, to contribute to a new anthology which we will aim to publish in November, before the presidential election. Our provisional title is \u2018What Rough Beast\u2019<\/em>, courtesy of WB Yeats, and our co-editors are Merryn Williams and Rip Bulkeley.<\/p>\n We would welcome poems and artworks not only about Donald Trump as an individual, but also about wider issues from recent American history, Trump\u2019s followers, his policies, and what the USA and the world would be like if Trump were to return.<\/p>\n We will publish the anthology as an epub before the election, and make it freely available to download on the website. Print copies will also be available to purchase, later in November.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Guidelines\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n 1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Please send us up to three original poems<\/strong>, for which you retain the publishing rights, in any language.
