Why so many suicides <br \/>Entering the final year? Was it fear of<br \/>Failed exams, or as written in the note a <br \/>Girl scrawled just before an overdose \u2013 knowing <br \/>Her entire life was trapped in debt? No job <br \/>In the world would ever pay it off. She <br \/>Just preferred to sleep for good. Still, no one <br \/>Knows why the boy with a large allowance <br \/>Leapt from a nearby cliff in front of friends,<br \/>Most of whom were stoned, arrested at the scene.<br \/>No charges in the end. Police were called-<br \/>Out by the press, pilloried for weeks when <br \/>Parents made complaints, though every <br \/>Question was ignored about a boy who <br \/>Relished every breath, his father <br \/>Said at the funeral, using words <br \/>That seemed high flown \u2013 My son was an<br \/>Unrivalled scholar, not some <br \/>Victim of self-harm.
